Our General Manager, Martin Jones, is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as ensuring that the right systems are in place to provide high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The General Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care. Martin joined the surgery in January 2014 and although new to the NHS and GP surgeries, he brought extensive leadership and management experience as well as good business, computer and building knowledge. After gaining a BA(Hons) in Architectural Studies he decided on a career change and joined the Royal Navy, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander after 17 years service. During his naval career he successfully gained a BSc(Hons) in Computing with Business with the Open University. After leaving the Navy, Martin worked for two years as the Business Manager for a Chichester Nursing Home before joining the Practice. Martin is the point of contact for any compliments or complaints.
