Doctors

Dr Eric Clarke (Male)

MBBS BMEDSCI MRCP MRCGP
GP Partner
Dr Clarke qualified from Nottingham Medical School in 1996 after which he worked for a number of years in Hospital Medicine, in particular in Cardiology, before entering General Practice. He became a Partner at Parklands in 2007 and took over as Senior Partner following Dr Patient’s retirement in 2024.

He is qualified as a GP trainer and is involved in teaching hospital doctors during their GP attachments, as well as registrars for their final three years of training to become GP’s.

His hobbies include sailing and rock climbing. He is married, his wife also being a GP, and has two children.

Dr Sandeep Mtharu (Male)

Dr Mtharu joined Parklands in 2011 after relocating from London. He graduated from Liverpool medical school and went on, after working in London hospitals, to complete his GP training in Surrey.

He is the locality director for Chichester, a role in which he represents the local surgeries at the Coastal West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Groups Board.

Dr Charlotte Jameson (Female)

Dr Jameson is our newest partner having joined the practice in 2018. She qualified from the University of Bristol in 2012, then trained in South London, Tunbridge Wells and West Sussex.

She lives locally in Chichester and enjoys running, gymnastics, climbing and drawing.

Dr Erin Barnes (Female)

Dr Barnes qualified from Nottingham Medical School in 2005 before undertaking her GP training in Derbyshire. 

With her husband in the army, she moved to Wiltshire for two years, working as a GP. They have now settled locally, allowing Dr Barnes to join the practice as a Salaried GP in October 2018.

With three boys, she enjoys keeping fit, whenever they allow her the time!

Dr Rida Kamal (Female)

Dr Kamal qualified in 2015 and trained in various hospitals and GP surgeries along the Sussex coast before settling in Chichester. She has been at Parklands since 2022 as part of her training before formally taking up her role as a salaried GP.
She is passionate about all aspects of General Practice, particularly women’s health and well-being.
In her free time, she enjoys baking and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr Lubna Abdallah (Female)

Dr Abdallah graduated from Cairo University in 2017 and completed her General Practice training in West Sussex in 2024. She was a GP trainee at Parklands Surgery in 2023 and joined as a Salaried GP in 2024.
She has a particular focus on holistic patient care. In her free time, she enjoys walking in nature and discovering new coffee spots.

The nurses can see a variety of conditions and run various clinics including those for asthma, diabetes, coronary heart disease and travel clinics.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

The admin team are responsible for a wide variety of tasks to ensure our patients’ records are accurate including summarising patients’ notes and processing hospital communication.

Reception

Many of our receptionists have been at the surgery for a long time and are experienced in routine matters of running the surgery. They are there to help in any way possible but please be patient with them if the surgery is particularly busy.
