Requests for repeat prescriptions must be made on a repeat form or with a written note and dropped in at the surgery or posted. It is also possible to request repeat prescriptions online via the Online Services link in the Menu Bar at the top of this page. Click here for information about how to register for online services.
Please note that in order to avoid mistakes, requests for repeat prescriptions cannot be taken over the telephone.
Please tick the items you require on the request slip and allow at least two working days for your prescription to be processed. Please only order the amount of medications you need and, if you have more than one repeat prescription, please try and order all the items together.
The completed signed prescription can be obtained in various ways:
- By a pharmacy of your choice who will collect it from the Practice and dispense it on your behalf (please allow an extra working day).
- By post (please provide a stamped addressed envelope).
- Personal collection from the practice.
Electronic Prescription Service
EPS enables our GPs and prescribing nurses to send prescriptions electronically to a dispenser (such as a pharmacy) of our patient's choice. This makes the prescribing and dispensing process more efficient and convenient for patients and staff, especially when processing Repeat Prescriptions. You can nominate a pharmacy of your choice either in the surgery or in your chosen pharmacy and you can change or cancel your nomination whenever you wish.
Please telephone after 10:00 if you have any prescription enquiries.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
